While on Easter vacation
in 1982, the Barry family noticed a "For Sale"sign at Al's
Hamburgers. This little restaurant was the firstplace that the
Barrys had stopped years before while on theirfirst visit to
Wellfleet. With three college-aged boys and ateenage girl (all in
need of summer jobs), the idea to enter therestaurant business
seemed a natural. Time passed and three ofthe four Barry
siblings went on to explore other careers. Todd, the oldest, took
a real liking to the restaurant and continued atthe helm of Moby
Dick's. Todd also took a real liking to Mignon, who justhappened
one day to come through the door of Moby Dick's searchingfor a
clambake. Well, she got her clambake as well as a husbandand a
restaurant too. Now on any given day, you can see Todd andMignon
roaming the restaurant continuing the Moby Dick's traditionof
serving fresh local seafood at reasonable prices in acomfortable
and fun Cape Cod atmosphere. We hope you enjoy yourdining
experience and return to see us again and
again.
